Hsiang-Hsin Ching is a passionate and committed violist and recording engineer, with the talent and drive to succeed. Growing up amongst the vibrant and diverse music scene in Taiwan, was an environment full of inspiration and stimulation for Hsiang-Hsin Ching to feed off. Currently attending the Peabody Conservatory studying with Choong-Jin Chang, Hsiang-Hsin is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Recording Arts and Viola Performance. Starting viola at the age of 13 under the guidance of Rui-Se Yang, Hsiang-Hsin was awarded the first prize in Taiwan National Student's Music Competition and the Pacing Arts Scholarship, from where she earned abundant experiences in chamber music. Invited as an orchestra academy member and section leader in the 2018 and 2019 Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, she continued her study with Scott Lee. She was announced as a fellow in the 2022 Aspen Music Festival & School. Through festivals and masterclasses, Hsiang-Hsin had opportunities to work with Christoph Eschenbach, Marin Alsop, Midori, Hsin-Yun Huang, Misha Amory, and Jessica Bodner.
